About Sean McGrath CPA

Sean McGrath attended the University of Illinois and earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting with Honors. He passed his CPA examination in his first sitting as well.

Sean then got incredible real world accounting experience working for a legendary Big Six accounting firm, Coopers and Lybrand, now called PricewaterhouseCoopers. While at Coopers, Sean specialized in financial services and business valuation and auditing for a great many clients.

Sean loves to help business owners simplify all of their bookkeeping, accounting and financial reporting. This allows business owners to focus on what they love the best, which is growing their company’s revenues. It is to this end that Sean founded his own accounting firm in 2014.

When Sean isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his two children, a son and a daughter. He decided to move from Chicago, Illinois to Tennessee in 2016 so that his kids could attend a high school ranked as one of the highest in the country. The great weather allows the family to enjoy three of their favorite activities which are hiking, climbing and all sports.
